A great action game with fantastic combat, exciting bosses, tantalizing secrets, and a few too many bugs.

An extremely satisfying conclusion to Diablo's latest demonic saga.

Getting medieval in a gritty recreation of 1400s Bohemia.

Fe is a lovely platformer with wonderful music, but it fails to do anything interesting with its best ideas.

Stripping out the Nemesis system leaves Shadow of War feeling smaller.

A massive open world to explore doesn’t necessarily make every game better.

The Resistance DLC adds needed map variety to multiplayer and introduces another fun Nazi Zombies map. The tighter, dense map Valkyrie gives the new Resistance Division a chance to shine with plenty of close combat opportunities, while Anthropoid offers snipers space to work their magic. Even though Operation Intercept is a new map for the wonderful War Mode, it feels like a known quantity with its repeated objectives from previous operations. On the other hand, the new Zombies map Darkest Shore has plenty of challenging (if sometimes convoluted) puzzles to uncover.

When its team-based battles work it can be great, but it's hard to follow.

The new Golden Age and Governor systems add new and interesting decisions while Loyalty largely bogs it down.

This DLC makes great use of the main game's mechanics to create high-level challenge.

This beautiful and intricate Metroid-inspired platformer proves they don't all have to play the same way.

It's the best yet in the series, but this MMA simulation still has some holes in its game.

Gorogoa's clever, magical puzzles explore the nature of spirituality, mythology, and history with a wordless elegance.

This remaster is a stunning return to the classic that wowed us in 2005.

'What Ails You' takes The Enemy Within's biggest and boldest step yet toward redefining the Joker's role in the Batman universe – should you choose to push him in that direction (which I did). It's the other characters whose final impacts on Bruce Wayne/Batman's life have yet to be determined.

This aquatic survival game is an underwater wonder.

Incredible platforming, innumerable secrets, and emotionally genuine story make this a surprising stand-out triumph.
